That includes researching your posts, writing and editing them, and promoting your content. Even if you have the resources to hire someone to do these things for you, you will still have to read everyday to stay up-to-date with what’s going on in your industry/niche. There was a time when I relied on my Kindle and laptop PC to keep up with my RSS feeds. These days I do almost everything with my iPad.

While there are plenty of newsreader apps available for iPad, these 5 new trackers stand out for the experience they offer:

Early Edition: my favorite iPad app these days. It turns my RSS feeds into a newspaper and makes it much less painful to keep up with all the blogs that I am subscribed to.

Times for iPad: not as good as the first app on this list, but it still has its merits. It has an attractive and customizable layout which helps. It can handle images without any major issues.

Go Reader: Google Reader is still my favorite RSS feed reader on my PC (it’s truly the best). With this app, you can keep up with your Google Reader account on your iPad without any major hiccups.

Pulse News Reader: Pulse is one of the best looking newsreaders that I have ever tried. It’s like having a dynamic magazine on your tablet with new stories each time you check it out.

Flipboard: I don’t know about you but I get a lot of my news from top social media sites these days (Twitter, Facebook, …). Flipboard is a revolutionary app that makes keeping up with those sites very convenient.
