LinkedIn is still one of the most underrated social networks around. Google+, Facebook, and Twitter can drive a ton of traffic to your website. But LinkedIn remains a goldmine for those who know how to take advantage of it. Businesses can use LinkedIn to build their brand and connect with prospects and customers. As a blogger, you should have your business listed on LinkedIn. Promoting your company page on your website is not a bad idea either. LinkedIn already has a follow button for companies that you can add to your website quickly.
In order to take advantage of this button, you are going to have your company listed on LinkedIn. Once you have added your company, you should provide its name to this tool and copy/paste the appropriate code to your site. If you are using WordPress, you can do so by dropping the provided code onto a text widget in your sidebar.
Many of us have plenty of social buttons installed on our sites. While you do not want to overdo this, adding a LinkedIn company follow button to your business site is a good idea.
