Automate Your Twitter Process with TweetAdder

I am not a big fan of shortcuts when it comes to building business online. Whether it’s blogging, doing research, or getting involved on social networking sites, you want to make sure that you don’t cut corners to give yourself the best chance to succeed. But there is a difference between taking a shortcut and outsourcing a process. As a blogger, you are going to have to wear multiple hats each and everyday. Most newbie bloggers can’t afford to hire a dedicated person to manage their Twitter accounts or post articles to article directories. So if you are serious about growing your blog, you are going to have to outsource non-core activities.

That’s how I look at TweetAdder. TweetAdder is a Twitter automation tool that is designed to help you manage multiple accounts more effectively on Twitter and gain more followers in the long run. The issue of Twitter automation is very controversial. There are a lot of sneaky marketers who use automation tools (including TweetAdder) to add followers and spam them in process. Some people go as far as completely automating their Twitter account. That obviously defeats the purpose of being involved on Twitter. Besides, the community is not dumb. People will soon realize that you are using an automation tool, and you will lose credibility in the process.

Just like any tool, you can choose TweetAdder to provide more value or spam others on Twitter. The choice is yours. But what you decide to do with TweetAdder doesn’t take away from the merits of the software program. The application is designed to help you manage multiple Twitter accounts more effectively and find more relevant people to follow. It also helps you follow people in batches (black-hat alert!). So let’s say you run a blog about eco-friendly products, and you are interested in following 30 interesting people on Twitter. With TweetAdder you can get that done without spending too much time.

Now here comes the gray area. This tool allows you to automate Twitter posts in advance. Something that should only be used occasionally. You can also automate your direct messages and auto-follow people who decide to follow you. There are two features that I really like about TweetAdder: VIP List and Auto-Unfollow. With these two features, you can unfollow people who may have stopped following you and have not provided any real value to you in the long run. But, you can keep those top Twitter users on your list even if they are not following you.

All in all, TweetAdder is a controversial Twitter automation tool that lets you manage multiple accounts, schedule tweets in advance, and get a more comprehensive research done on Twitter. It’s definitely a time-saver but please do not use it to spam others.
