GoDocs: Manage Google Docs on iPad
The iPad is a life saver for anyone who reads or surfs the Internet for hours each day. It’s much more than capable of replacing laptops for short trips. It does help that there are thousands of apps available for it too. Take GoDocs for example. It’s a powerful application that lets you take advantage of Google Docs on your iPad and sync your work with your online account in a flash. Google Docs’ interface may not be optimized for iPad just yet. With GoDocs, you won’t have any issues browsing through your online documents.
While I do not use Google Docs to manage sensitive documents, I do store ideas, lists, articles, and spreadsheets online. It’s just a wonderful way to share information among our team members. With GoDocs, accessing all those documents takes just a couple of taps. The app has a very attractive interface and is quite fast. It lets you view all your Google Docs documents and even download them to your iPad without having to go through iTunes. Since you can download documents, you can view them offline as well, which is especially nice for WiFi iPad owners.
What’s nice about GoDocs is that it lets you open multiple Google Docs accounts simultaneously. It can open documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and PDF files. GoDocs even supports video and audio files. Once you are done viewing and modifying your files, you can just sync them with your online account.
In summary, GoDocs is a wonderful solution for anyone using Google Docs to manage documents online. It has a very fast interface and does what it promises. It’s pretty affordable too.
