3 Cool iPhone Apps for Domainers

In the past few months, I have covered various reasons every online business owner should keep buying domain names. Not all the domains you buy end up being winners. But some will be if you do extensive research before registering your domains. There are many domain tools available online. But accessing them on mobile phones is not always convenient. Here are 3 iPhone apps that make doing research on domains on “the go” easy:

Domainsbot: Domainsbot is one of my favorite domain research tools on my desktop computer. This app lets you access this tool on your iPhone. Use it to find new domains or get WHOIS information on domains already registered.

Site Spotter: a handy tool that lets you search through expired domains on your phone. It covers .com, .org, and .net extensions. It can filter out domains with numbers in them.

DomainView: a domain brainstorming tool for iPhone. It shows you the actual words used in recently registered domains in form of a tag cloud. The results are almost in real time. Users do have the option to monitor words up to a 24 hour period.

These iPhone apps are not the most sophisticated tools around for domainers. But they work just fine on iPhone. They make finding new domain ideas easier.
