Running your blog and improving it is not just about writing more blog posts or increasing your post frequency. You are going to write about topics that people are interested in reading about in your niche. In fact, it all goes back to the good old supply/demand framework. If you are supplying content that no-one wants to read, your work is not going to get the recognition and exposure that it deserves. That’s why every blogger needs to look at his/her analytics data to find ways to supply what his/her audience is demanding.

While there are plenty of Analytics tools out there on the market, I personally use Google Analytics to keep track of what is happening on my blogs. It’s a free tool that is quite powerful and does offer almost everything a blogger needs to keep track of traffic, referring URLs, exit points, and everything in between. Now thanks to Analytics HD, bloggers can take advantage of Google Analytics on their iPad.

The iPad is a blogger’s best friend. The large screen makes it much easier to get some thing done on the road. Analytics HD certainly looks much better on an iPad than an iPhone. It offers 55 reports and full screen charts that bloggers can look at to find out about who is visiting their sites and what they are doing while there. Analytics HD has a clean interface and is very easy to use. Your reports are not more than a couple of taps away. It also can handle multiple Google Analytics account (just in case you track your sites over multiple accounts). The “Today” and “Yesterday” report give you the latest information about your readers’ interactions with your blog posts.

Analytics HD is not going to do the analysis for you. But it’s always nice to have a way to go through all the charts and reports that one can get from Google Analytics on the go. Besides, playing with Google Analytics surely beats playing games and wasting time with your iPad.
