As a blogger, I am constantly on the look out for tools that can help me develop ideas, find what other people are looking at, and discover what the hottest properties are on the Internet. Toolmeet is a cool tool that lets me do just that. Toolmeet is a toolbar that install on Firefox. It sits on the top of your browser and lets you connect with your friends and find out what other people have had to say about a specific website.

Toolmeet is certainly not the first service that lets you know about what other people are saying about a specific website. Glue is another great tool that lets you mine for blogging ideas. But it’s certainly nice to have multiple tools to refer to when you are researching and looking for new ideas.

The service does let you know about top visited sites, latest user posts, and most active users. You can also add your toolbar to add comments to websites that you visit. Overall, Toolmeet is a decent tool if you are mining for blogging ideas and want to learn about what people are doing online. It’s a free tool, simple to use, and worth a try.
