A good solid blog with no traffic is as good as a dead blog. Traffic is the main issue that folks are concerned about when they start their blogs. But driving traffic to a blog takes time and effort. My focus has always been on long-term traffic as a short-term boost in traffic does not necessary guarantee you success in the blogging world. 2. StumbleUpon Ads: advertising on StumbleUpon can bring tons of traffic to your site for free or $0.05 per click. If people like what they see on your blog and vote it up, you can get even more free traffic from StumbleUpon.
3. FaceBook: FaceBook is an underrated method of driving traffic to websites. If you have many friends on FaceBook, you can send them messages about your latest blog posts. Better yet, you should import your blog to your FaceBook account to automatically have your blog posts posted to FaceBook.
